I have a one year old.
Yep. It's been ONE YEAR! A year ago today I was home, with a fresh new Finn Finn. I was so tired, vibrating with love and exhaustion. I think he and grandma were up for the ball drop at midnight, but I was long out. I knew I was going to have a long night ahead of me anyways! Looking back, this has been hands down, the greatest, most challenging year to date. It has been such an emotional rollercoaster. That love I felt instantly has grown into something so natural and necessary that it is second nature. Finn and I have grown so close that everything feels so intertwined. A lot has happened this year, but what matters most right now...is right now. He is growing and learning and DOING things every second of every day, it's getting harder to keep up. I love watching him be braver, stand taller, grow sillier - on a daily basis.
