Baby's first Christmas
So, I haven't been much of a celebrator of Christmas in the traditional Christian way. I grew up Catholic, but as I got older I grew out of it a bit. Therefore, as an adult I always felt a bit fake celebrating a Christian holiday. It was probably just me being an angsty 20-something, but I felt really strong about it.
Until I had a child.
Seriously though, I CANNOT GET ENOUGH!! The decorations, the songs, the presents. I even made paper snowflakes to put all over the house. Instead of the typical "Happy Holidays" I spread as to not offend anyone, I am shouting, "Merry Christmas" to everyone. I can't stop.
We saw Santa - I cried.
I wrapped presents - I cried.
We sang Christmas songs at dinner - I cried.
We got matching p.j.'s - of course I cried.
What is happening?! I'm so in love with Christmas through his eyes. I feel like I'm getting a second chance at experiencing it all over again!
How lucky am I :)
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!!
