6 Whole Months!

So, it turns out doing this whole parenting thing on your own really doesn't leave much time for blogging about doing this whole parenting thing on your own. BAH!

Mr. Finn (Shark Baby since the teeth came in - yeouch!) is now less than a week from turning 7 months!!! Wow. What a ride it has been so far. We are still so in love. This crazy bond we share is so incredible. A few milestones to catch everyone up:

** As mentioned above, he has two teeth! Both bottom teeth are coming in nicely. (Quick note: I had someone ask me how he was doing with teething. Honestly AMAZING! I really never noticed a difference besides maybe a little sleep change, but he was my happy, zen baby through it all!)

** He is officially sitting up without support

** He reaches for me with both arms up (this is absolutely one of my favorites!)

** He is eating some solids. We are doing a combo of Baby Led Weaning and purees. I am making most everything with the exception of a few packs of organic purees for on the go! Some favorites are sweet potato (fries and purees), pizza crusts...we're not too sure about peas yet, but we'll keep trying.

** He is still nursing like a champ

** He loves baths, but is a quick bather. In and out. We got a new rubber ducky that makes bath time so fun!!

** He giggles all day - mouth wide open!

** His sleeping is here and there. He was doing some great stretches at night, but lately he's been up more often. He goes down about 7:30 after a bath and will wake about 11, 2, 4, then up for the day around 630/7.  Growing?? More teeth??

** He loves school and all of his friends. He even has a few girlfriends - Hilde and Norah. He is quite the charmer they say

I'm sure there are so many more milestones, but these are the big ones. I'm going to try to post here more often as I am finding a bit of time here and there as we rollercoaster back into a bit of a routine.
